I'm 22 and I have a Major in English, Minor in History from Queen's University in Canada. I never left, though. I'm still stuck there doing my Bachelor of Education. (Help?) I'm nerdy and opinionated. I read a lot. I can be childishly happy and the biggest bitch you've ever met in the same day depending on my mood and the amount of caffeine I've had at the time. My LJ is mostly open. I go on fairly long hiatuses. I'm a Teacher Candidate who spends most of my time either in a classroom being a slave to the system or writing lesson plans at home. It can't be helped. Despite all this, I do love fandom and friends. So feel free to add me. I don't automatically friend people back, but don't let that deter you. :) My username, for those of you who are curious, comes from Feminist Literary Theorist Helene Cixous's essay The Newly Born Woman in which she quotes "Let them tremble, those priests; we are going to show them our sexts." |
I started out in the Harry Potter fandom in 2001, and have been involved to varying degrees in different fandoms ever since. The things I fangirl the most are Harry Potter, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica, and very recently White Collar. My ships include but are not limited to Harry/Draco, J2, Lee/Kara and Caffrey&Burke. Certain people are also trying to get me into Dean/Castiel. Warning: I do read mostly slash and I do read both RPS and Wincest. If either of these is objectionable to you, I'd skip adding me.
